Dear new seventh graders,
here are a few tips for being successful in seventh grade. first, you want to make sure you do your work and homework. second, you always want to stay on task so you finish your work and you won't fall behind. lastly, be sure to ask a lot of questions if you don't understand something and need help.

The first tip is: DO NOT TALK WHILE MS. LECKMAN IS TALKING! she will nail you.

My second tip is: Take advantage of the extra credit. she gives some out almost every week. If you didn't do a homework assignment you need those extra points.

The last tip is: Pay attention! She knows when you aren't and she WILL call on you!!!

I want CC to organize these!

3 tips

1. Don’t fall behind on anything you do, if you fall behind you are going to struggle a lot throughout the year.
2. If you are absent any days of the year go and ask Ms. Leckman what you missed or you will miss that lesson and fall behind.
3. Lastly, make sure you check your work before turning it in to make sure your answers are correct, and so you can make sure you didn’t miss anything
I nominate E.K. to organize the work.

Advice to all you upcoming 7th Graders:

1 My first piece of advice is to take notes. If you take notes then you will succeed. Always keep your eye on the prize. ….. Beating Meadows to get a party!!!!!

2. Number two is to try your best on every assignment because if you try hard, and you do the work well, but get it wrong, you’ll still get a good grade.

3. Lastly I ask you to be a good student and still have fun. You do not want to make Mrs. Leckman mad! If you do than you had better be sincere.

RE POST H.R.
There are a few basic tips I think you MUST know to be successful in 7th grade AEP.
1. STAY ORGANIZED! If you do not keep track of your work, or assignments it will be very hard for you to be successful, so always be sure to know where all you stuff is.
2. PAY ATTENTION! Your attention in class must be 100% focused on the math, if you aren’t it’ll be hard for you to understand the lesson, and you will fall behind in class. Also when the test rolls around, you’ll be sorry you didn’t catch that one key that will help you with the entire thing.
3. TURN IN YOUR WORK! As generous as Ms. Leckman is with extra credit, you should always turn in your homework. Because after a while of not turning it in, your grade will fall. Also when we review the next day, it helps so much with the problems you didn’t understand, and once you get it you can comprehend the math better.

If you follow these three steps, I promise you it’ll immensely help you succeed in Ms. Leckman’s AEP mathematics class.

I think C.C. would be good for the organizing position:)

Tip 1: Listen all of the time.

Tip 2: If you miss a day, make sure you get the work.

Tip 1 make sure to do the homework. It’s hard to keep your grade up if you don’t do the homework.

Tip 2 Try to do your best. If you don’t try you won’t pass.

Tip 3 Make sure to get make up work. Even though you were absent your not excused and that work not done will lower your grade.

1. A very helpful tip that will also help in the future is to always be on task and do your work.
2. Pay attention to what is being said and don’t put stuff aside until the last second.
3. If you don’t understand what is being said then ask questions or it will be hard to learn it in the future.

J.K. per 8-9

There are way more tips I can give to you but I will only tell you 3. First of all, math is really easy if you just pay attention because one thing is connected to another so if you don’t learn something it will make the next lessons harder. Second tip I can give to you is always do your homework. If you are paying attention then the homework will be easy and you will get it done fast. Plus, Mrs. Leckman won’t even give you a lot of homework anyway. The final tip I’ll give to you is to not procrastinate on packets. It doesn’t feel good knowing you have to do a big packet in a couple nights. It feels way better to get it over with as soon as possible.

If you follow these tips I will guarantee that you get an “A” in the class. Also, take advantage of extra credit; it will boost your grade up by a lot. I think it always helps if you score some points with Mrs. Leckman, she might give you a better grade idk though, try it (=D) What do you say¿ Oh yeah and ask questions if you don't know the answer.

I nominate S.S. for president or whatever he is running for… ?

There are many tips I can give you to help you endure 7th grade AEP math with Ms. Leckman. You have to always turn in your work on time, and always listen to what Ms. Leckman says. If you don’t, you will get in trouble, and not have fun. Also, do well on your benchmarks to get good rewards (can’t tell you what you’ll get). Do not get on her nerves, and she’ll like you. Do NOT talk over her. If you follow all her directions, you will ace this class and pass it.

Nominated myself.
